My name is Shirley Adney, founder of Creative Dance Passion – a place where dance, growth, and mindset converge.
My journey began with breakdance, and quickly grew in love with various styles such as Modern, Jazz, Commercial, Afrohouse, Afrodance, Amapiano, and Hip-Hop. For me, dance is not just movement, but also expression, energy, and personal development.

After completing my Sports & Dance studies at Thorbecke (2016–2018) and my pedagogical programs at MBO Goes en Rijn IJssel Arnhem (2019–2024), I combined my passion for dance with my knowledge of personal growth and coaching.
This combination forms the foundation of my lessons and the vision behind Creative Dance Passion today.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with artists such as Mr. Vegas, Rich Kalash, Chivv, and Figogang, and I worked on projects like Footlocker x Puma and Holland's Got Talent.

The reason I started my own dance school is simple:
I saw that there were many options for children, but few places where adults could feel free, seen, and understood in dance. Moreover, I wanted to create an environment where positive energy, affordability, and personal guidance are key.

My classes aren't just about technique or choreography, but about your growth as a person. I help my students become aware of their mindset, provide tools to better manage challenges, and encourage them to become stronger both on and off the dance floor.
